Park Place Maserati Fort Worth recently unveiled the new Maserati Levante SUV at the dealership on Bryant Irvin Road.

More than 100 Maserati enthusiasts enjoyed a fabulous Zegna trunk show and lounge courtesy of Neiman Marcus Fort Worth
. Guests also sampledItalian-inspired fare by Taverna restaurant and lively libations by Solerno Liquer, Monkey Shoulder Whiskey, Peroni Beer, LeMarca Prosecco and Peiropan and Gabbiano Wines.

The Levante starts at $72,000 MSRP with a 3.0 liter,
twin-turbo V-6 offering 345 horsepower and an 8-speed gearbox to propel this stylish crossover from 0-to-60 mph in 5.8 seconds. Or step into the S model for about $82,000 with a 424 hp turbocharged V-6 to go from 0-to-60 in about 5 seconds. Built in Italy, the new twin-turbo engines were designed by Maserati and built by Ferrari. Producing the trademark Maserati growl, the beefy note is even more pronounced when you switch to sport mode. It just might be enough to move you to the front of the carpool line.  Or, at the very least, this beautiful beast will command respect and turn heads.

While the most challenging terrain Fort Worth drivers will face is rush hour on I-35, the Levante comes standard with Maserati’s Q4 all-wheel drive with standard air shocks and electronically controlled dampers. A computerized clutch engages the drive to the front axle when needed. The Levante also allows you to change the height of the vehicle and the stiffness of the suspension to comfortably handle any terrain.

The Levante can operate at five different ride heights, plus a sixth for park. There are four selectable drive modes -- normal, sport, off-road and ICE -- managing three basic control groups together: engine map, boost and transmission; air springs and dampers; AWD and stability control.

While the luxury SUV may be a beast underneath, the Levante is pure beauty inside with the finest Italian leather and hand-stitching throughout the cabin. An 8.4-inch touchscreen controls all media and audio including a Bowers & Wilkins audio upgrade, which will push 1280 watts of sound through 17 speakers. Passive and active safety systems are top of the line, including adaptive cruise control, autonomous braking and steering intervention. However, the Levante still offers conventional hydraulic steering, true to Maserati’s commitment to optimum handling.

Maserati’s first SUV has reportedly been tested more than any previous Maserati, starting with 1.7 million road miles on four continents and New Zealand.

Park Place Maserati is located at 5760 Bryant Irvin Road, just off I-20 or the Chisholm Trail Parkway.
