Free concerts. Thrilling carnival rides. Texas eats and drinks. If it's spring, it's time for three days of hometown family fun at Main Street fest, happening in downtown Grand Prairie April 26-28 on and around the 200 block of W. Main Street near City Hall. One of the DFW area's most popular festivals, this year's Main Street Fest features live music and entertainment, an expanded carnival area, arts and crafts vendors, a KIDZONE, and tons more, including free admission and complimentary parking. You won't want to miss it! Main Street Fest is brought to you by the City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation Department; follow @mainstreetfest on Facebook and Instagram or visit mainstreetfest.com to find out more. Pro tip: Early arrival is recommended for each night's headline concert: Mark Chesnutt (Friday at 10 pm); Michael Salgado (Saturday at 10 pm); and Parliament Funkadelic, featuring George Clinton (Sunday at 6:30 pm).
