It wouldn’t be the holidays without Prairie Lights! One of the most popular seasonal attractions in North Texas, this stunning drive-through holiday light park features millions of lights arranged in hundreds of festive scenes along the shores of Joe Pool Lake at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie. Drive straight through, or stop at the Holiday Village to stroll through the beautiful Walk-Thru Forest (a perfect place for pictures), enjoy holiday shopping, sip or snack on tasty concessions, and grab a picture with Santa. Prairie Lights kicks off Thanksgiving and runs nightly through New Year’s Eve at 6 pm (you can enter the line until 10 pm or until the park reaches capacity, whichever comes first). Admission is $50 per car (with additional fees for buses and limos). PRO TIP: Consider upgrading to a Prairie Lights Fast Pass, which allows you to select your arrival time and skip the line.
