Char’d, a Southeast Asian Kitchen, will be giving away free customizable bowls to celebrate the grand opening of the restaurant’s Fort Worth location. The celebration will take place on Thursday, September 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 8901 Tehama Ridge Parkway, Suite 137 in the Presidio Towne Crossing shopping center in Fort Worth.

In addition to free customizable bowls for the first 100 people that attend the grand opening celebration, Char’d will be offering all guests coupons for ten percent off their next visit to the restaurant.

“We are very excited to open our third location and introduce Char’d to the Fort Worth community during our grand opening event,” said Martin Doan, majority owner, Char’d: Southeast Asian Kitchen. “We recently opened a location in Richardson, and we have plans to continue expanding and offering Southeast Asian cuisine to guests all over the United States.” 

Char’d gives guests the freedom to mix and match different Asian flavors, including Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean flavors, with customizable bowls. Guests build their own bowls by choosing a base, protein, veggies, sauce and toppings or choose from a pre-designed bowls such as Vietnamese Grilled Pork or Thai Red Curry Chicken. Giving diners the option to pick and choose their own bowls makes Char’d a great option for picky eaters, gluten-free guests or those on keto or paleo diets. 

In addition to customizable bowls, the menu at Char’d offers steamed buns, spring rolls, poke, homemade ice cream, local craft beer and a large selection of wine among many other delicious options. All menu items are made in-house using fresh ingredients. 

Starting with just a few sets of clothing and $30 in their pockets, Martin Doan’s parents were the first in their family to immigrate to the United States from Vietnam. The Doan family’s passion for foods, flavors and influences from different Asian cultures sparked the inspiration for Char’d. Char’d: Southeast Asian Kitchen is family-owned and operated by siblings Martin, Dominic, Joseph, Paul and Mary Doan.
